Project Description

Golden Views is a new, boutique residential development of 73 allotments in the beautiful township of Gisborne. Located 45 minutes from Melbourne city and 35 minutes from Melbourne airport via Calder Freeway, Gisborne is the gateway to the Macedon Ranges.

Perfectly positioned only 5 minutes from Gisborne Township and 10 minutes from Gisborne train station, Golden Views is within close proximity of Gisborne’s established community.

What we did

LD Eng worked closely with Resi Ventures in a thorough Due Diligence process to acquire the site which had an existing permit in place.

Melbourne Water initially required an interim retarding basin to be located on the site which reduced the yield and added to construction costs.  LD Eng prepared a drainage model for the development confirming there was no impact on the downstream drainage infrastructure or flood levels which removed the requirement for the retarding basin.

Project Outcomes

Detailed design drawings have been approved for Stages 1 – 3 and works commenced on site with an expected completion date in August 2017. Design of Stages 4 – 6 is proceeding.
