LD Eng is a team of 26 engineers and technical officers with extensive experience in land development. We provide initial project feasibility advice, through acquisition, planning, permit application, detailed design, approval, tender assessment and contract administration.

Due diligence and feasibility.

Our Engineers have extensive experience in major residential site acquisitions including the recent purchase of the Featherton Estate, Madison Hill and Heathfield sites. We understand the importance of a thorough due diligence process, often completed under strict time constraints and have the systems and procedures to confidently assess development costs for your projects.

The due diligence process involves:

Assessment of existing conditions and encumbrances.

Review of servicing capacity constraints, timing and opportunities.

Liaison with the relevant authorities to confirm the expected development conditions

Development of a risk matrix determining the key opportunities and constraints along with a methodology to address these issues.

Preparation of an opinion of cost for the project assessing construction, authority, and consultant expenditure for the project.

Working closely with the Client and their team of planners, surveyors, financiers and lawyers to develop the optimum bid for the project.

Design and Documentation Technology

LD Eng is extremely proud of our technical expertise in customization of systems and processes for land development. Our quality system and processes combined with the structured use of the latest design software will add value to your project. We utilize the latest 12D Synergy systems to digitally control our dataflow and digital files. Emails, documents and design versions are managed by the system to ensure the latest drawings are available to the full project team. Our systems and processes are certified to ISO9001:2015 and AS/NZ4801:2001.

Contract Administration

LD Eng has long term established relationships with all the major land development contractors and Relevant Authorities in Victoria.

We work closely with them to ensure our estimates and designs reflect current industry standards and the latest construction methodology and techniques.

Our experienced Construction Engineers work closely with the contractors to anticipate any issues that may arise whilst maintaining a focus on contractual deadlines and the ultimate timely delivery of statement of compliance and title release.
